It can be reached by car or by cable car from the center of Dinant.
9 kilometers from the E411 Brussels-Luxembourg motorway, exit 20.

Disabled Access:
Disabled access to the Citadel is only through the top of the site. Part of the exhibition requires walking down stairs and is inaccessible to individuals with limited mobility.

Parking:
Two free parking areas for coaches and cars and a bicycle rack (at the top of the Citadel). Visitors arriving by car can park for free at the parking lot by the top entrance. The parking area is available for both personal cars and buses.

People with disabilities are served out of turn. Parts of the exhibition require climbing stairs and are inaccessible to people with limited mobility.

Our exhibition is located in the citadel, so people with mobility impairments may find it much more difficult to move around the exhibition. Persons with disabilities are served out of turn. There is an adapted restroom in the exhibition area.

Please remember that it is an outside exhibition. Check the weather before our visit and dress accordingly.

Can I return a purchased ticket?

A ticket refund is possible only in the event of exhibition closure due to circumstances beyond our control, such as force majeure or technical failures (e.g., power outages). For details, please refer to our terms and conditions.

Do I need to buy a ticket for an infant?

Children up to 100 cm can enter for 1 euro.

Can I reschedule my ticket?

No, only in individual cases.

Can tickets be purchased at the box office?

Tickets are only available for purchase online.

Is there a discounted ticket for people with disabilities?

Yes. A single-entry discounted ticket costs EUR 15.00 from Monday to Thursday and EUR 20.00 on Fridays, weekends, and holidays. An unlimited discounted ticket, valid every day throughout the exhibition, costs EUR 39.00. The discount also applies to a caregiver.

We invite you to enjoy the food offerings on-site. The Smurf Tavern, a restaurant that will be opened in the heart of the Citadel during the event, will offer family-friendly food such as pasta cones, hotdogs, hot chocolate, pancakes, and waffles.

Is the Garden of Lights accessible to people with disabilities?

Some paths are accessible for people with disabilities, but certain areas are not accessible for those with limited mobility.

Yes, there is a parent and child room available at the exhibition.

Can I bring my pet to the Garden of Lights?

For the well-being of pets, they are not allowed on the exhibition grounds, except for guide dogs. The light and sound effects are designed for our human guests and may not be tolerated by pets.

VISITING THE GARDEN

What are the opening hours of the Garden of Lights?

From November 15, 2024, to February 16, 2025, we are open on weekdays from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on weekends and holidays from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The exhibition will only be closed on December 24 and 31, 2024.

Can I post photos taken in the Garden of Lights?

How long does a visit take?

Reserve at least an hour, but you are welcome to stay longer if you wish.

Can children of all ages visit?
